Rothesay Harbour & Marina
The old harbour is now been renovated to produce more yacht berths for visiting boats. To achieve this many years of accumulated silt is being removed so that full displacement yachts will not dry out. This is therefore a highly complicated project, as the harbour requires a temporary dam to hold by incoming tides until the project is completed.
Barbour Structures have provided the following services and manpower.
We are highly delighted to be involved in this project, as it will increase revenue and trade in the town to continue the regeneration of Rothesay. In particular, it is a pleasant day’s sailing from the mainland marinas and will ensured the Clyde is recognised as a world class sailing venue.
