SAIL REPAIRS

At Jessail we take great pride in the quality of our repairs and will try to achieve a quick turnaround if requested. Jessail happily undertake repairs or alterations of most types of sails. We can supply rip-stop materials, woven cloths and laminates to match your sails in terms of materials and colour as closely as possible. Sail types that can be repaired are: Yachts, Dinghies, Windsurfers and Architectural Feature Sails. We can also repair: hang-gliders, kites, tents and awnings.

Sail and Cover Maintenance

Care and maintenance of your sails and covers, diligently undertaken, will assist in as long a life for your equipment as possible. Manufacturers recommend sails are inspected, cleaned and overhauled once per year. Each winter, we offer a full sail maintenance and repair programme which includes washing off salt and grime, drying, full inspection and repairs carried out as required. If the sails are considered to be beyond economic repair, a full report will be issued.

UV Protection

UV rays are possibly the most expensive and easily avoidable cost. Left in constant exposure to the sun, your sails/covers will deteriorate very quickly. Call for further details.
