SAIL REPAIRS

We can advise before the work is carried out of the full extent of the repair necessary, the techniques to be used and the total cost. We will carefully consider the age and condition of the sail and its expected level of future use in formulating our advice.

We use top quality materials and have the sewing capacity to handle the heaviest fabrics. Combined with careful execution by skilled staff, this ensures a neat and entirely serviceable repair, extending the active life of the sail.

We recommend that you have your sails inspected annually to detect potential weaknesses and defects. A timely minor repair is far preferable to a later large repair, possibly after a sail has failed in service. Professional advice and clearly defined estimates ensure that customers know what they are paying for and what they can expect to receive every time. We can also supply new sails and are happy to advise on the best manufacturer to meet your individual requirements.

SAIL AND COVER MAINTENANCE

Care and maintenance of your sails and covers, diligently undertaken, will assist in as long a life for your equipment as possible. We offer a full sail maintenance and repair programme which includes washing off salt and grime, drying, full inspection and repairs carried out as required. If the sails are considered to be beyond economic repair, a full report will be issued.

UV PROTECTION

Damage caused by UV rays is possibly the most expensive and easily avoidable cost. Left in constant exposure to the sun, your sails will deteriorate very quickly. UV strips can be replaced in colours to match the livery of your boat. Please call for details.
